Sun, April 6, 2008 - 2:21 AMI'd be very interested, but I"m down in Sarasota...a bit further south from you. I come up to Tampa fairly frequently, though, for troupe practice with Cerice Janan (usually Sundays). I dance Egyptian Raks Sharki and American Cabaret along with Improvisational and American Tribal Styles and Tribal Fusion. I typically start beginners off with foundational movements that can later be applied to any style in order to form a firm foundation in the dance.

I've also studied classic Egyptian and African dance. I would be interested in a trade. Though I warn you I can't hoop at all despite having ample hips to hold a hoop up : )
