I've been back in the belly dance world for three years and am looking to reconnect with an old dear friend. Does anyone know or remember Taty Podlas? She would have danced in Orlando in the 80s. She and I were in a troupe together on the island of Crete in '79. Before that she spent years in Turkey. She was also a flamenco dancer.

Thu, July 10, 2008 - 7:56 AMTatiana's daughter, Vanessa danced in the Orlando area until about 5 years ago or so (she may still do private appearances, but I haven't seen her in restaurants for quite some time). Both were regular dancers at the Olympia restaurant, and my guess is that the owners of the restaurant would still have Vanessa or Tatiana's phone number. Their number is (407) 273-7836. Good luck!
