What about a personal trainer with latin dance experience? There is definitly more isolation of the abdominals in that dance form. Just a thought!

I appreciate your response, but I'm specifically looking for a personal trainer. Personal trainers are different from fitness instructors. For one thing they have more training to work one on one to fit an individual's needs. I need someone that's had proper training in being a personal trainer and that can come out to my home to help me set up a curriculum. I already take at least 5 dance classes a week. This is for specific needs I have to help me grow as a dancer. I'm finding a few personal trainers with dance experience, but none with bellydance experience... I'm not sure if a regular dancer would understand the importance of being able to isolate my abs... LOL;o) Although I may give one of the personal trainers with regular dance experience a try...

Thanx again for trying to help me=o)

The only person that comes to mind is Ilham McCrary (http://www.ilhambellydanceacademy.com/) but I don't know if she's an actual personal trainer ... it just says "fitness instructor". Is that the same thing? Anyway, she's super nice if you want to give her a call and ask her.
